Kwek-Kwek

you probably have heard of the word "kwek-kwek" if you are a filipino. It is like a miniature version of your hard-boiled egg at home which you eat every breakfast. we all call it quail eggs.
in the philippines, "kwek-kwek" is used to be eaten at our so-called Merienda time or the snack time during the afternoon. the first step is to have the eggs be skinned off and then on a separate container mix flour with an appropriate amount of water to make it a smooth mixture and an appropriate amount of MSG or iodized salt for the taste. after the mixture is prepared, the eggs are to be put into the mixture one by one so it will be covered by it just like surrounding a muffin with chocolate fudge in the outside. once the egg is already covered by the mixture it is fried into a pan of cooking oil. eventually, the mixture will be solid and thus, will seem like the quail egg's new shell.
"kwek-kwek" is tasty to eat with either a sweet and spicy sauce or spicy venegar and is perfect with Philippines' "sago't gulaman".
